The NM prison riot was one of the worst prison riots in US history. It left a stain on the justice system in NM for many years. It also led to sweeping reform of the NM prison system. I am joined by Lydia Wolberg as we explore this horrible tragedy. It all started with the collapse of institutional mental health care which led to prison overcrowding.
