Cynthia Vigil Jaramillo survived more than most people ever will in their lives. She was abused as a child and found herself working as a sex worker on Central Avenue in Albuquerque. Her mother was murdered when she was a teen and one of her best friends was murdered just months before she was abducted by David Parker Ray. In Episode 5 Cynthia details the horrible facts of her abduction and torture. She also brings hope as she talks about how she’s grown stronger despite the challenges she has faced in life. She is an inspiration in the way that she is able to deal with adversity and abuse and overcome.
